Special Court for Corruption and Organized Crime has decided to make 290 people, family members of the victims and injured from the tragedy that happened in March 2008, part of the Gërdeci process.

The decision was taken on Wednesday during the process in which former minister Fatmir Mediu was taken as a defendant.

Lawyer of the families of the victims of Gërdec, Dorian Matlija, called it a victory for the Durda family because since 2009 they have had such a request that has not been accepted.
