Student from Pristina, Era Thaqi, has achieved another success. She has been accepted for studies at two American universities with a full scholarship and has decided to study in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering, in combination with neuro-science.

The application to American universities has started since August 2022, where she has shown the procedures she went through, being tested in essays and standardized tests.

Era Thaqi has applied to 7 American universities (4 of them are part of the ‘Ivy League Universities’ group) and has been accepted in two of them, Princeton and Brown University. As a result, she has shown which field she has chosen to study at Princeton.

Earlier, Era Thaqi visited NASA in 2022. She will also soon represent Kosovo at the International Physics Olympiad in Japan.

By the end of ninth grade, Era had become interested in coding and taking various courses. On this occasion, several opportunities have been offered to him. Among these opportunities, she singled out the visit to America, to Virginia Tech University and to the American Space Agency – NASA. She has represented Kosovo together with two other Kosovar girls, in a one-month visit to America, as part of the “Tech Girls” program.
