This Thursday, a session will be held to communicate the security measure for Vangjush Dako and other former officials of the Durrës municipality.

According to the information, the lawyer Petrit Ismaili, the defense lawyer of former mayor arrested for abuse of office twice, arrived a little earlier at the premises of Special Anti-Corruption Structure.

On Monday, Special Prosecutor’s Office issued an arrest warrant for several former officials of the Durrës municipality, including the former mayor of Durrës, Vangjush Dako.

The charges against Dako and the former municipal officials are falsification of documents and abuse of office.

Dako has been declared non grata by the United States since 2019 and he and his family are not allowed to enter the US.
