Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a statement to the media, recently spoke about the tense situation in the North of Kosovo.

He said that the internationals are the masters of the house in Kosovo and the moment they turn their backs, the country enters its darkest days.

He further underlined that he will support Albin Kurti until the end.

“Internationals are the lifeblood of Kosovo. The moment they turn their backs on Kosovo, it enters its darkest days. I am not here to make comments about Albin Kurti. I supported him throughout the dialogue process, and when he was attacked by some blind people why did he sit with Vucic at the table. I will support Kurti until the end on the road to mutual recognition and the final salvation of Kosovo. 5 countries in the middle of Europe still do not recognize it. Instead of dealing with this, we deal with police in empty buildings. New elections must be announced immediately. The police must be withdrawn immediately. There is no need to sit in empty buildings. It is difficult to think of Kosovo without internationals. What can happen is very serious,” he said.
