Alfons Kola, a 33-year-old man of Albanian origin was killed 10 days ago in Italy, after being stabbed outside a bar in Calcinato, in the province of Brescia.
The 33-year-old was urgently transported in serious condition to the hospital, where he underwent a delicate operation. However, he could not survive his injuries and passed away.
An hour after the incident, the police arrested the perpetrator of the murder, 52-year-old Petrit Gega, compatriot with the young Albanian.
Italian media have disclosed Gega’s statements in front of the investigative team. The perpetrator of the crime did not reveal the reasons why he shot his compatriot.
“I hear voices, I see the devil, I want to talk to an exorcist”, these are some of the statements reported by Giornale di Brescia, given to the investigators by the 52-year-old.
According to what was discovered by Italian investigators, Kola and Gega had known each other for a long time. The possibility of a conflict in the past or old grudges between two people who are both originally from the village of Kallmet in Lezha is not excluded.
It is learned that the body of the young man arrived this Saturday in Albania, where the funeral ceremony was held.
