The Basic Court of Pristina has imposed a security measure of one month of detention for Millun Millenkovic-Llune, the person who was arrested in North Mitrovica on June 13, as a suspect for attacking KFOR.

“This afternoon at the Basic Court in Pristina, in the special department, a hearing was held to decide on the proposal of the public prosecutor for the appointment of detention. The prosecutor’s proposal has been approved and he has been ordered to be detained for 30 days”, said his lawyer Nebojsha Vllajič for REL.

The defense has 48 hours to appeal this decision.

Lawyer said that Millenkovic was sent to a prison in Podujevo.

Millenkovic was arrested on Tuesday in North Mitrovica during an action by the special units of the Kosovo Police.

Vllajic said that the Prosecutor’s Office accuses his client of three criminal offenses: terrorism, changing the constitutional order through violence and endangering a person under international protection.
