Case of one-million euros theft in Italy, two Albanian citizens arrested in Vlora

2 Albanians were arrested in Vlora after they were wanted internationally for theft in northern Italy.

They are accused of having stolen several motor vehicles.

During the control carried out in the premises used by these citizens, in the village of Babicë, 1 suspected stolen excavator, 1 truck, inside which 1 dinghy with a length of about 13 meters, with 3 engines was found and seized. (“Yamaha” brand), with a power of 415 KF, which is suspected to be used for criminal events.

Specifically, E. A., 51 years old, resident of Vlora, and F. Sh., 28 years old, resident of Vlora, were arrested.

The total value of the assets, all destined to be traded in African countries (Gambia and Egypt) and in the countries of the Balkan Peninsula (Slovenia and Albania), is calculated at over 1 million euros.

In total, during this operation, in Italy and Albania, 14 citizens were arrested and for 3 other citizens, the security measure “House Arrest” was executed.
