Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, are this Thursday in Brussels, where they will meet with the Head of Foreign Policy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, as well as the Special Envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.
The meetings are expected to be held starting from 14:00 this afternoon. Meanwhile, the EU’s official announcement does not mention that there will be a meeting between Kurti and Vucic.
“Discussions will focus on finding ways to de-escalate the current tensions in order to return to the implementation of the Dialogue Agreements, in particular the Agreement on the Road to Normalization”, the announcement states.
Kosovo Prime Minister announced a day ago that after the official visit to the Vatican, he would go to Brussels within the framework of the normalization of the situation in the North. So even President Vucic agreed to go to Brussels, but said that he will not agree to have a meeting with Kurti.
