Exports of goods reached 487 billion ALL, or 4.6 billion euros, increasing by 32% compared to 2021. Meanwhile, imports also experienced a lower growth of 19%, reaching a total of 950 billion ALL, or 8.9 billion euros.
According to the structure of business and sales in foreign markets, exporting companies are dominated by those operating in the industry sector. The weight of exports carried out by these enterprises was 81%, with an increase of 28%, compared to 2021. Large enterprises account for 40% of the value of exports of these enterprises, increasing by 21%.
Companies operating in the trade sector have the largest value of imports. In 2022, the weight of these enterprises is 56%.
Last year, micro, small and medium enterprises accounted for 90% of the value of imports of enterprises operating in the trade sector, increasing by 19.0%, compared to 2021.
