A 57-year-old man in Kukës has been arrested after he registered a minor who did not exist as his daughter 21 years ago and then forged documents again in 2021 to declare the child dead.

From the investigative actions, it appears that the 57-year-old has committed this criminal activity, in order to benefit from a higher retire, based on the law of the time.

A doctor and the administrator of a funeral agency are under investigation for abuse of office.

From the evidence provided, it is suspected that in order to benefit from a higher retire based on the law of the time, citizen Xh. S. forged documents, 21 years ago, and registered in his family tree (as his daughter), the identity of a minor citizen who did not exist. Also, in 2021, the 57-year-old falsified the death certificate of this citizen, with the aim of deregistration from the Civil Registry.

For the citizens A.E. and A.E., the investigations continue, with the aim of examining whether or not these citizens were involved in issuing the false documents used by the citizen Xh. S.
