The year 2022 concluded with 798 artistic performances staged by several important artistic institutions in Albania.

These performances were attended by 104,366 spectators, a figure nearly three times higher than in 2021.

Not only did the number of spectators increase, but the number of shows and premieres presented by artists also rose by 30%.

The National Experimental Theater staged 319 performances, which were attended by 26,763 spectators.

Moreover, there was increased interest in children’s performances.

In the previous year, the National Center for Children’s Culture presented 188 shows, which were watched by 27,023 spectators.

During 2022, the National Circus reduced the number of performances from 51 to 46, but the number of spectators increased tenfold, reaching 22,550 individuals compared to the 2,364 in 2021.
