The right-wing opposition parties in Serbia gathered on the evening of June 28 in Belgrade, as a sign of support for the Serbs from Kosovo.
Insults and hate speech against Albanians were heard among them.
The rally was organized by the “Movement for the Protection of Kosovo and Metohija”, with the support of right-wing parties, including the parliamentary opposition parties, Dveri and Zavetnici.
At the rally, nationalist songs about Kosovo were heard and the banner was unfurled: “Stop terror against Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija”.
The gathered waved flags of Serbia and slogans “no surrender”, which also featured the map of Kosovo.
They asked for Russia’s support for Serbia’s policy towards Kosovo.
Among their demands was the release of the Serbs arrested in the north of Kosovo, whom the Kosovo Police have identified as the organizers of the incidents in that area, during the past month.
The authorities of Serbia were asked to stop the negotiations with Kosovo and cancel all the agreements reached within the dialogue for the normalization of relations.
