9 days after the action ordered by Special Anti-Corruption Structure (SACS) in the MEK Mujahideen camp, Manzë in Durrës, the police have returned again to this camp.
The sources indicate that the presence of the police in the Ashraf 3 camp started in the evening yesterday.
Police officers have carried out several checks at the entrance of the camp, mainly of cars that enter and leave the Mujahideen’s residence.
Several police cars have been placed at the entrance gate, while it is learned that the measures have come to increase security in this camp. Until these moments, there have been no escorted persons.
Albanian police have increased security measures in the MEK camp in Manzë.
It reported that every vehicle entering Camp Ashraf 3 is checked by the police.
Sources for Euronews Albania say that the checks are being done with the purpose of not allowing the introduction of computer equipment to continue the cyber activity by the members of the Iranian opposition.
We remind that after the action of 9 days ago, the police seized large number of computers and laptops. On that day, the Mujahideen claim that one of the camp members lost his life after conflicts with the police.
