Cultural fields are creating more and more jobs, mainly attracting young people.

According to the data published by the Institute of Statistics in 2022, there are 24,132 employees who make up 1.9% of the total employees.

This figure has been increasing in the last 3 years.

What stands out is the high participation of young people employed in cultural fields.

Based on experts’ data, young people aged 15-29 make up only 20.9% of total employment in the country, while their participation in employment in culture is 30.%.

The majority of employees in culture are men, respectively 58.9%.

As far as education is concerned, we see that in cultural fields 66.5% have higher education, while this figure drops to 23.7% when we talk about all employment sectors.
