A victory worthy of qualification was the one recorded by Tirana in the transfer to Georgia.

“The White and Blues” defeated Dinamo Batumi with a score of 2-1 in a highly contested match throughout the 90 minutes.

The hosts scored higher in terms of ball possession, but Orges Shehi’s team had more chances of scoring.

They took the lead in the 28th minute of the match through Regi Lushkja. Just like in the previous match played at Air Albania in Tirana, the midfielder found his way to the net again.

The second half mirrored the first, with Tirana finding their second goal through Ardit Deliu.

Dinamo Batumi managed to score their only goal in the 90th minute through Tornike Kapanadze, but time did not promise any more opportunities.

Thus, Tirana will advance further, and in the second round of the Conference League, it will face Beşiktaş.

A dramatic 4-4 draw, but in the end, penalties decided the winner, giving Ararat Armenia the right to advance further, with Egnatia sealing off its European journey.

Even Vllaznia’s minimal victory was not enough, as the Shkodra-based team was defeated 3-1 in transfer by Linfield.

The football clubs of Gjilan in Kosovo and Shkëndija in North Macedonia also faced eliminations in their respective matches.

However, two teams of both these countries can still hope as North Macedonia’s Shkupi achieved success, and Kosovo’s Dukagjini also advanced to the next round.
