The police operation coded “Castellon”, developed by Fast Albania in close cooperation with the investigative and operational structures of the Local Police Directorate of Vlora and Interpol Tirana, is finalized in Vlora.

A person wanted by the Spanish justice authorities, a member of a criminal group in the field of cultivation and production of cannabis, has been arrested and imprisoned.

Following the consecutive operations carried out by Fast Albania, in cooperation with the Local Police, for the capture of the persons announced as internationally wanted, another operation has been finalized in close cooperation with DVP Vlorë. Based on the police intelligence, the crime investigation structures and the operational ones in the DVP Vlore in cooperation with the FAST Albania unit in the General Directorate of the State Police, within the police operation coded “Castellon”, made possible the capture and provisional arrest for the purpose of extradition to Spain of the citizen:

-V. H, alias V. H, alias V. J, 33 years-old, lives in “Kushtrimi” neighbourhood, Vlorë.

The provisional arrest of this citizen was made after the Court of Castellon, Spain, on 06.07.2023, has set the security measure “Arrest in prison”, for the criminal offenses “Drug trafficking”, “Criminal organization” and “Theft of electricity”, provided by the Criminal Code of Spain. This citizen, in cooperation with other Albanian and Spanish citizens, rented houses in the Castellon area and adapted them to cultivate narcotic plants with the help of lamps.

Interpol Tirana is following the legal procedures for his extradition to Spain.
