An absolute premiere, never performed before in any country in the world, will come to Durrës for the first time.

The stars of the classical ballet troupe of Ukraine are doing the final rehearsals to put the “Ice Princess” on the stage of the theater.

This is a special work, which brings together two very beloved fairy tales for children, Frozen and The Ice Queen.

“I took this initiative to bring a love story. I combined the two tales to bring a single for children and adults as a message of peace, harmony and love, since my country is at war. Durrës was a random choice. While I was looking at the map, I chose Albania and especially Durres, thinking about the comfort of the troupe to enjoy and have fun with the beaches and the beauties of the city” – said the organizer Iryna Khandazhefskyi.

As they come to Durrës for the first time, the emotions are great for the troupe and the impressions are the best.

“I am working for the first time with this troupe of dancers and for the first time I am staging a premiere with a classical ballet troupe. This is a very nice experience for me. I am happy, that we are putting this premiere in Durrës, in Albania” – said Andreas Heise, choreographer

This is a novelty, which is expected to appear on July 30 at the “Aleksandër Moisiu” theater.

The manager, Elio Bajramaj, gave the details.

“The Ice Princess” is a romantic story, with the music of Mozart, Vivaldi, Halvorsen and Leontovich,” said Elio Bajram, Director of the Aleksandër Moisiu Durrës Cultural Center.

A story that is expected to bring unforgettable emotions to all art lovers from Durrës, but also to the many tourists who visit the coastal city in this period.
