During today in the district of Gjirokastra, several problematic fires were registered, while the intervention of firefighters was needed to extinguish them. The first fire was registered around 11:30. in the place called ‘ish-fusha e gëlqeres’.

On the outskirts of the village of Derviçan, a considerable area of ​​bushes has been engulfed by the flames. In order to put out this fire in time, the firefighting forces and vehicles of the municipalities of Dropull and Gjirokastër intervened. Thanks to their work, the danger of this fire has been avoided for the residents of Dropull.

The second fire was recorded in the fields of the village of Lazarat, around 2:00 p.m., in a place called Siloni. The fire has reached large proportions, while the intervention of two operational groups of firefighters from the municipality of Gjirokastër was needed to extinguish it.
