In a tragic incident that unfolded in the heart of Pristina, Kosovo, a person lost their life, and four others sustained injuries during a gunfight. The incident occurred at a bar in the late hours of August 4, just before midnight, as reported by the Kosovo Police.

According to authorities, the altercation escalated, and in the midst of the disagreement between several Kosovar men, shots were fired, leading to the unfortunate casualties. Additionally, 17 other individuals suffered injuries caused by broken glass and bottles that were shattered during the heated exchange.

As of now, Kosovar media has reported one confirmed fatality due to gunshot wounds, but the police have not officially confirmed this information.

In response to the incident, police units and the K-9 team swiftly arrived at the scene, recovering four cartridges and bloodstains. The immediate aftermath of the shooting left the area in distress as emergency medical personnel tended to the wounded and rushed them to the Clinical and University Center of Kosovo (QKUK) for medical attention.

As investigations are underway, four suspects have been identified and are currently receiving medical treatment under police custody, as ordered by the prosecutor.
