A grave accident occurred on the island of Crete, Greece, where a 23-year-old Albanian lost his life in a motorcycle accident.

The vehicle the young man was riding collided with a truck in the Mastabas area in Rethymno, resulting in fatal injuries for the Albanian youth.

Kristian Nako was in his final year of studies in Bulgaria and aspired to become a doctor. However, the tragic accident on Wednesday shattered his dreams in the prime of his youth.

The news was made public through a Facebook post by the Albanian Immigrant Association in Crete, offering condolences to the family and announcing the time of the memorial ceremony.

“Our condolences and courage to his parents and close relatives. Condolences to all fellow compatriots for this sorrow. May Kristian rest in eternal peace and be embraced by the angels,” expressed the Immigrant Association.
