Time Out magazine presented a list of the 30 most beautiful countries in the world for 2023, led by Kotor.

Noting that selecting the most beautiful places in the world is no easy task, this magazine stated that the locations from the list of the most beautiful were selected by a network of world travelers who experienced the beauty of each country on the list.

The first place on the list was the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro, where, as described, “the Adriatic Sea in the narrow passes of the rugged Dinaric Alps forms the Bay of Kotor,” reports RTCG.

“Here, nestled between the water and the rock, is the triangular, medieval old town of Kotor, with its gravity-defying castle climbing the steep cliffs above,” says Time Out magazine contributor Paul Stafford.

Iceland came second on the list, followed by Erg Chebi in Morocco, Mont-Saint-Michel in France, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi and Ella in Sri Lanka.
