PM Kurti travels to Athens, part of informal meeting called by Mitsotakis

Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has traveled to Athens, where he will participate in the informal meeting of the leaders of the region, at the invitation of the Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

The press office of the Prime Minister of Kosovo informs that Kurti is expected to hold several other meetings, in addition to the informal dinner.

“There, Prime Minister Kurti will participate in the dinner invited by Prime Minister Mitsotakis for the leaders of the Western Balkans, which is being held on the 20th anniversary of the Thessaloniki Summit. Also, during his stay there, he will hold several meetings”, the Prime Minister’s announcement states.

Present at the meeting will be the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, that of Montenegro, Jakov Milatovic, the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, of the North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski and the president of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Kristo.

Albania will not be a part of the informal meeting in Athens, where the presidency through a reaction revealed on Friday that the reason for the absence in the meeting was the agenda.
