The inscription “Russians and Serbs – brothers forever” depicted the Serbian and Russian flags on several buildings in central Moscow, including that of a major media company in Russia.
Also, there were other inscriptions that read “When the army returns to Kosovo”.
Apart from Moscow, such messages also appeared in other cities such as Saint Petersburg, Saratov or Oryol.
Similar campaigns took place at the beginning of the year, on the anniversary of Kosovo’s declaration of independence, when a protest was held in front of the Serbian embassy in Moscow, where the protesters held placards that read “NATO is the killer of the Slavic world” or “Kosovo is Serbia”.
