The Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis also reacted to the help from Tirana, who thanked Albania. Albania, as part of the European Civil Protection Mechanism, sent firefighting structures from several municipalities in the southeast near the neighboring state to the two border points Kapshticë and Kakavijë, awaiting confirmation from the Greek side for intervention in the areas where they are needed.
