Immediately after participating in the Bled Forum in Slovenia, the special envoy of the European Union for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, flew to Belgrade.
This Wednesday, Lajcak held a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić. Through a post on the X network (former Twitter platform), he informs that the focus of the meeting was the implementation of the agreements reached within the dialogue, the extension of the situation in the north of Kosovo and the holding of new elections in the 4 municipalities with a Serbian majority.
“In Belgrade today, I had substantive discussions with President Aleksandar Vučić, about the next High-level meeting in September, efforts to lower tensions and hold new local elections in the north of Kosovo, as well as the implementation of all Dialogue Agreements “, writes Lajcak on Twitter.
