Kosovo police arrested this Thursday a person who threatened Prime Minister Albin Kurti with his life. In the announcement made public by the Kosovo authorities, it is stated that the arrested person with the initials N.S., first threatened Prime Minister through a post on the Facebook social network. Then, the person in question continued the threats in a live broadcast on the show “DEBAT PLUS” on August 30.
It should be noted that by the decision of the Special Prosecutor’s Office, the person was detained for 48 hours.
“By order of the Special Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK), the Kosovo Police arrested today the suspect with the initials N.S. due to the reasonable suspicion that he has committed the criminal offense “Violence against high representatives of the Republic of Kosovo” from Article 121 of the KPRK.
The Special Prosecutor’s Office announces that the suspect N.S. made threats of violence and murder against the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, after he made a post on the social network “Facebook” with incriminating content, as well as, during the live broadcast of the “DEBAT PLUS” show, on August 30 2023, he repeated the same statement”, announced the Kosovo police.
