Prime Minister Edi Rama presented during the meeting of the National Assembly of the Socialist Party, this Monday, the changes in the government cabinet.
Six ministries are affected by the changes, while the Ministry for Standards and Services has been merged and the Ministry of Local Government has been added, which will be headed by Arbian Mazniku.
The head of the government announced that Olta Xhaçka has left the post of Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs and Igli Hasani has been appointed in her place.
Ogerta Manastirliu has left the Ministry of Health and has been appointed as the Minister of Education and Sports.
Minister Delina Ibrahimaj has moved from the Ministry of Economy and Finance to take over the leadership of the State Ministry for Entrepreneurship and Business Climate.
Ervin Meta has been appointed to the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
Socialist’s MP Anila Debaj has been entrusted with the position of the Ministry of Agriculture, where she will replace the former Minister Frida Krifca.
Albana Koçiu has been appointed Minister of Health and Social Protection.
The changes in the government cabinet presented by Prime Minister Rama are expected to be presented to President Bajram Begaj on Tuesday.
