Families with low incomes in Kosovo will also benefit this year, financial support for the energy spent.

This was announced by the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in the presentation of the Program for the Protection of Vulnerable Electricity Consumers.

Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati explained who and how will they benefit

The support for this program also came from the EU and the World Bank, who demanded correctness during its implementation.

“We expect to have support for solar panels for energy production, and the EU remains committed to helping Kosovo in energy efficiency, which is in line with the commitments of the Energy Community as well as the implementation of the Green Agenda. We look forward to having a support and to have the most accessible energy for our citizens” – said Alessandro Bianciardi, EU office in Pristina.

This is the second time that part of the citizens of Kosovo are subsidized for the energy spent by the government of Kosovo with funds provided by the EU.
