“Enemies will always be held accountable before the law,” said Kosovo’s Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Sveçla, as he commented on the death threats made by the terrorist organization Severna Brigada (Northern Brigade).
He also expressed that he feels extremely secure, thanks to the Kosovo Police and their professionalism, while addressing the threats made against him and Prime Minister Albin Kurti by the Serbian terrorist organization Severna Brigada.
Sveçla emphasized that it is the Kosovo Police that ensures peace and allows institutions to work safely.
“I feel extremely secure, thanks to the Kosovo Police and their professionalism. The success of the Kosovo Police guarantees that citizens have a peaceful life, and institutions work securely. Certainly, in our struggle for justice, for order and the rule of law, there will always be enemies of this fight, who in one way or another will target Kosovo’s institutions. Let us not forget that even the Kosovo Police have officers fallen in the line of duty, who are not among us to celebrate, but they are their families, to whom I wish a happy Police Day. The work continues, our enemies will always be held accountable before the law,” he said.
Minister Sveçla made these comments during his visit to police units and equipment at the “Skënderbeu” and “Ibrahim Rugova” squares on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the establishment of the Kosovo Police.
