In the first 7 months of the year, the value of new bank loans did not show a significant increase. It results in 162 billion lek, or 0.8% higher than last year.
The loan issued during this year shows that the number of people who are buying houses or investing in businesses is not growing.
The data of the central bank show that the new loan in the January-July period was 162 billion lek, an increase of 0.8% compared to last year.
July turns out to be among the weakest months, with business having reduced demand to develop through financing.
Even for individuals, the value of the loan remained unchanged, with 27 billion lek loans in the January-July period, from 28 billion lek that were granted last year.
For the latter, the bank analyzes that only overdrafts and simple consumer loans have increased, while loans for housing or vehicle purchases have decreased.
The rapid increase in the price of housing, high interest rates have become an obstacle for high-value loans.
