Kosovo commemorates the 22nd anniversary of the terrorist attacks in the USA.
With the motto “Kosovo never forgets”, the “Friends of America” association has organized several activities in honor of the victims of these attacks.
The organizers said that these activities are a message of thanks to America, while they asked for its support for Kosovo in the future.
American Edward Anderson, Director of the Department for Security and Public Safety in the OSCE, was part of the activities.
“I want to thank you for what you all have done here and for the media attention for this, young people, and again thank you very much, you have never forgotten your promise, so thank you,” Anderson said.
Leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, paid tribute to the commemorative plaque dedicated to September 11.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti and several members of his cabinet also paid tribute to the victims of September 11, 2001. Part of the activities were also Kosovo firefighters and KSF policemen.
