Tirana police have announced the criminal proceedings against 6 Polish fans who committed violent acts in the “Air Albania” stadium, during the match with Albania for the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

Police informs that the procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office for the citizens with the initials G. Ll., R. G., E. H., A. D., B. M. and G. Ç.

Therefore, the investigative actions continue for the complete documentation of this case, the identification and association of other citizens who have performed illegal actions during the sports activity.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions.

“Specialists for Investigating Crimes of the Police Station No. 1, following the investigative actions for the situation created during and after the football match Albania – Poland, held on 10.09.2023, at the “Air Albania” stadium, 6 citizens who threw flares on the field have been identified and escorted to the police station for violent actions”, says the police announcement.
