A new political movement named “Shqipëria Bëhet” was born in Albania. Its founder is Adriatik Lapaj, a strong voice of the civil society during the last years.

Activist Adriatik Lapaj has presented his long-announced political movement, which is officially known as “Shqipëria Bëhet”. For Lapaj, the political race should be opened and the law on referendums should be approved.

“We must open the political race. If there is no political competition, there cannot be any other competition in the country. The people today are the decoration of a republic that is commanded by the armchairs of Tirana. We must pass the law on referendums and introduce direct democracy. There is no other way but union” – said Lapaj.

The law is the key to the functioning of the state, if it is responsive to society and treats people without division.

Lapaj’s theses have appeared in the last few years in the squares where it has been complemented by civil society and in the local media, and have been supported by the public.
