A serious accident occurred in the town of Obzovica, in Montenegro, where a bus went off the road causing two casualties.

The accident happened on the Budva-Cetinje intercity road.

According to the local media, as a result of the crash of the vehicle, 17 people were injured, who were urgently transported to receive the necessary medical care at the hospital.

It is reported that 35 passengers were on the bus, including minor children.

The police of the neighboring state have arrested the driver of the vehicle who, in his statements to the police, said that he felt severe pain in his head before the bus collided with the side curbs and ended up in the abyss.

Search and rescue teams are continuing to search for people who may be trapped under the vehicle.
