European Parliament will discuss the situation in the north of Kosovo in the next session in Strasbourg. As announced, MEPs will discuss the relations between Belgrade and Pristina with the Commission and the Council on Tuesday afternoon, following the recent conflicts in the north.
In the announcement, it is said that the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Policy and Security, Joseph Borrell, has strongly condemned the attack of an armed group on the policemen of Kosovo.
It is also noted that in two separate reports in May, MPs have called on Kosovo and Serbia to engage in a dialogue under the auspices of the European Union and to ensure without delay a comprehensive legally binding agreement for the normalization of relations based on the principle of mutual recognition.
