The only Albanian deputy in the Assembly of Serbia, Shaip Kamberi, has stated that the situation has calmed down after the US call on Serbia to withdraw its troops.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, while commenting on the Serbian president’s statement, he underlined that there is a possibility that Aleksandar Vučič will take revenge on the Albanians in the Presheva Valley.

Based on this, he had a call for internationals.

“The Serbian army roamed our streets for two days, but later they withdrew. After the official position of the US, it seems that things are heading towards normalization. No military movement is observed. There was no reason to mention the Preševo Valley and the possibility of the involvement of criminal elements in the attack in the North, since the Banjska action was carried out by the Kosovo police. This is a possibility that Vučič is preparing for some revenge against the citizens of the Preševo Valley, so I call on the US and QUINT ambassadors to prevent any kind of attack by Vučič,” he said.
