Albania and U.S. discuss collaboration and partnership on law enforcement

Members of the law enforcement team from the United States Embassy in Tirana, led by Chargé d’Affaires David Wisner, held a meeting with Muhamet Rrumbullaku, the Director General of the State Police, to discuss collaboration and partnership between the United States and Albania in the realm of law enforcement.

Director General Rrumbullaku expressed his appreciation to the U.S. Embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires and other embassy representatives for their visit, as well as for their support and trust.

He further assured them of the State Police’s steadfast commitment to fighting terrorism and organized crime in close coordination with strategic allies and other international partners.

Wisner extended his gratitude to the State Police for their dedicated efforts in combatting organized crime, illicit drug trafficking, and contributing to a safer Albania, as conveyed by the U.S. Embassy today.

Both parties underscored the robust cooperation between U.S. law enforcement, the U.S. Embassy, and the State Police.
