European Union’s Special Representative, Miroslav Lajcak, rejected on Friday claims that he was biased in favor of Serbia in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.
“When you don’t like the message, you try to attack the messenger,” Lajcak said at a panel at the To Be Secure Forum in Montenegro when asked about allegations of bias by Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
“Dialogue has been here since 2011. There have been different governments in Serbia and Kosovo, different EU representatives, but dialogue is the only way,” he said.
“The fact is very simple: there is no European future without the normalization of relations between Serbia and Kosovo”, said Lajcak.
