The war in Israel is expected to have impacts on the economy of many countries. Experts in Albania predict an increase in the price of fuel, because their largest import is carried out from the countries of the Middle East.
While the world was returning to the economic balance after the impact of the war on Europe’s borders between Russia and Ukraine, the conflict of a week ago in Israel has sparked alarm about price stability.
Experts say that the conflict will increase energy prices on international exchanges and these effects will also affect our country.
The first and most significant effect is expected to be the increase in fuel prices.
Energy products are mainly imported from the Middle East, and the war could cut the global supply, bringing impacts to Albanian market as well.
Trade exchanges between Albania and Israel have increased in the last 3 years, where last year the two countries traded 57 million euros. Imported products are mainly minerals, fuels, electricity as well as chemical and plastic products. On the other hand, Albania mainly exports food and construction material, which are also expected to affect the export figures.
