After the spectacular victory against the Czech Republic, Albanian team returns to the field on Wednesday, where they are expected to face Bulgaria in a friendly.
In a press conference, coach Sylvinho said that the next match, even though it is a friendly, has maximum commitment from the team.
He underlined that they have analyzed Bulgaria well and it is expected that the team will go to the field with 3 or 4 changes, since the entire created scheme cannot be changed.
“There can definitely be some changes, the coach has played 3 years in the Premier League and who wouldn’t want to try it as an experience. We have two very good goalkeepers, we are confident with them because they have the right experience. We are safe with them at the gate. I lost the concept of the friendly, we sent a person from our staff to see Bulgaria closely, they have special players, especially number 4, they are tall players. It is normal that 3-4 changes will be made, because the group we have formed must be preserved. We cannot make 6-7 changes in the scheme.
Of course, the players have understood the logic part, and the difference between an official and friendly match. There’s a big audience, it’s a big opportunity for them and me. It is not fair to say the names that will play tomorrow, I will see in the last training session as well”, said Sylvinho.
Sylvinho dismissed the rumors that there is disagreement between him and player Armando Broja. He emphasized again why Broja did not join the team on the field in the match against the Czech Republic.
“Nothing has happened with Broja, it is not an easy process because he comes after a 10-month injury and he has not played much in the last matches. One match before he came to us, he played 45 minutes and was replaced so that there would be no problems. He was checked by us, there were some problems, we consulted with Chelsea’s doctors and it was clear that he was not ready to play and we decided for him to go to Chelsea, that’s all,” declared Sylvinho.
