Theater of the University of Arts has been opened for the public on Friday evening. This concluded the project of deep restoration and return to identity of the whole part of the corpus classified as a monument of cultural heritage, where it was worked, in collaboration with the restorers of the University of Florence, and also where the theater hall was the most precious and challenging part for the teams involved in the project.
“Another area of European pride was added to the cultural Tirana, the capital of Europe’s Balkans, which is growing day by day as the embodiment of our ambition and joint work towards the new peak of Albania 2030”, writes Prime Minister Rama on Facebook. He was also present at the opening ceremony of the theater of the University of Arts, where he said that he felt happy to give something back, no matter how little, to this country that has given him so much.
“Today this hall is made available to those who have the mission to pass on their experience to others and to those who come with the mission to create a new experience and all together to keep alive the passion of this country, the creative and communicative one.
Today, this hall fulfills a need of many, many years, to be as radiant and impressive as all those talents who from this hall go to the top of the world, for those who started from this hall and have amazed millions of spectators in the world.
Expressing gratitude for everything, I personally took from the energy of this hall, which is then spread by those who enter to many others who meet those who leave. It gave me the pleasure to give back to this country, very little, but nevertheless something, compared to what this country gave me”, said Prime Minister Rama.
