Sali Berisha will have to appear twice a month at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

According to the court’s decision, the former Prime Minister must go to the offices of the National Bureau of Investigation on November 6 and 20.

Berisha is a person under investigation by the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO) for passive corruption, as through legal acts he favored his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi, for the privatization of the former “Partizani” sports complex.

The security measures of “obligation to appear” and “prohibition of exiting the country” have been imposed on the former prime minister for the charge of “passive corruption”.
