The “MS Amadea” is the last cruise ship to dock at the Port of Durrës for this calendar year, successfully concluding the season regarding the high influx of tourists who have visited the country through tourist ships.
The cruise ship “MS Amadea” arrived this Monday morning from the Port of Corfu, Greece, bringing more than 700 foreign tourists who will visit the archaeological sites of Durrës, Tirana, and Kruja during their one-day stay.
“MS Amadea” sails under the flag of the Bahamas, with a length of about 193 meters and a width of 28 meters. After concluding its visit to Durrës, the ship will head to the Port of Dubrovnik, Croatia, to continue exploring the Mediterranean coast.
Durrës has been one of the selected itineraries for cruise ships and yachts this season, making it one of the preferred destinations for foreign tourists.
During the period from April to October 2023, 23 cruise ships with thousands of foreign tourists have docked at the Port of Durrës.
The Durrës Port Authority has provided dedicated berths during this season for receiving tourist vehicles, thus enhancing safety standards within the port area.
