The head of the government Edi Rama announced in a post he made on social networks that he will soon travel to Pristina.

Rama says that Albania will strongly support Kosovo in the implementation of the Basic Agreement and will continue to play its role in promoting peace, stability and regional cooperation.

He further states that he is proud of Albania’s contribution to the difficult process of normalizing relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

“I could not be more proud of Albania’s determined and concrete contribution to the difficult process of normalizing relations between Kosovo and Serbia. However, the ASMM Draft Statute accepted by Kosovo and Serbia as a suitable working document is an EU draft. Albania will strongly support Kosovo in the implementation of the Basic Agreement and will continue to play its role in promoting peace, stability and regional cooperation between all the countries of our neighborhood. Soon I will go to Pristina to personally show my support,” said Albanian Prime Minister.
