The Constitutional Court has decided to suspend the government’s decision on some additions to the law “On the treatment of property and completion of the property compensation process”.

The court in Thursday’s meeting decided to accept the complaint made by the Muslim Community, admitting that some of the government’s articles in the law on the treatment and compensation of properties were contrary to the country’s Constitution.

CONSTITUTIONAL COURT DECIDED:

1. Passing the case for consideration in a public plenary session.
2. The acceptance of the request for the suspension of the implementation of the law no. 77/2022, dated 17.11.2022 “On some additions and changes to law no. 133/2015 “On the treatment of property and completion of the property compensation process”.
