The unstable weather of the autumn season is not preventing local and foreign visitors from being present in the city of Gjirokastra.
For those who do not want too many people on their walks, it seems that this time of the year is ideal, to see up close the historical and architectural values, part of the world cultural heritage under the protection of UNESCO. The visits to the traditional Bazaar, the Stone Castle as well as the museum complexes and characteristic houses remain their favourites.
