UEFA has distributed footage of the celebrations at Air Albania after Albania’s qualification for Euro 2024.

In a Facebook post of UEFA’s official website, it is written: Albania celebrates in style.

No one thought it, but now it is a reality, Albania in first place in group E, in the qualifiers for Euro 2024. The Reds drew in the last challenge with the Faroe Islands, but that 1 point was enough to be confirmed as the head of the group. A match which started with 5 changes in the formation, where the starters were rested by coach Sylvinho, but there were no shortage of chances to score.

The fellow islanders also put in a positive performance, picking up their second draw in these qualifiers, while the other matches are all defeats. The player of the match was undoubtedly Mario Mitaj, the full-back who put in another outstanding performance, while being described as the revelation of these qualifiers.

The match ended in 0-0, while in the same group, the Czech Republic defeated Moldova, securing the passage. During this qualifying campaign, Albania was confirmed as the best attack, the best defense, while it is expected to be placed in the second pot for the December 2 draw.
