The Office of the Specialized Prosecutor has requested today that the accused, Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli and Rexhep Selimi, have their visits and all communications suspended, except with the team of lawyers.

According to this office, they violated court orders by revealing the identity of protected witnesses and disseminating the contents of confidential testimony to people who visit them at the detention center.

It is alleged that they talked to visitors, instructing them to talk to witnesses and tell them what to talk about.

For this reason, the Prosecutor’s Office has requested that all communications be suspended for Thaçi, Veseli and Selimi until the decision of the court.
