An 18-year-old man was found dead this Saturday in the Residential Development Center.

It is known that the young man suffered from mental health problems and in June he was admitted to this center.

The causes of death are not yet known, as the police report that no signs of violence were found on the body of the 18-year-old.

The investigative team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the case.

Preliminary information

Today, around 12:00, in the Residential Development Center, Berat, the staff of this center found the citizen S. Ll., 18 years old, resident of Kavajë, without signs of life and without signs of violence, he was suffering from problems of mental health.

This citizen, in June 2023, was accepted for treatment at this center, by decision of the Central Commission for the Assessment of the Needs of Persons with Disabilities in Tirana, as he suffered from mental health problems.

The investigative group is carrying out actions to fully clarify the circumstances of the case
