Lessons in Albanian schools take place through noise. In the analysis that the experts of the international report “PISA 2022” made for Albania, it is noted that the students reported that in most lessons, the teachers have to wait a long time for the class to calm down in order to conduct the lesson.
As a result, 25% of students say that they can work quietly, 28% do not listen to what the teacher says and 24% of students have reported that they are disturbed by their friends who use their cell phones during class.
Another problem that has been increasing from one report to another is loneliness.
15% of students reported that they feel lonely at school, while 15% feel excluded from the activities that are organised at school.
While 12% of Albanian students reported that they were not satisfied with their lives.
Bullying is also a disturbing phenomenon in schools. Experts estimate that mocked students are often inclined to drop out of school and perform poorly in lessons.
